Dear Friend,
College has a funny way of convincing us that belonging is something we have to earn. We start wondering what version of ourselves people will like most. We laugh a little louder at jokes that aren't funny, say "yes" when we really want to say "no," and slowly begin shaping ourselves into someone we think others will accept. Somewhere between orientation week, late-night conversations, and trying to find our place, it's easy to lose sight of the person God created us to be. B

My Testimony.
I am a pastor's kid. Yes, I know! A pastor's kid. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 5 years old. I also have moved more than a handful of times. 8 different elementary schools produced thick skin. My parents raised my siblings and me in a Christ-driven home where, when conflict arises, we were told these 3 simple things. 1. Take a deep breath.
